"Good morning;
Several weeks ago my nephew was returning home from Florida
with his wife and 2 year old son when they were notified their
condominium was below one that had burned in Brighton. It was
on the news. It took four days and numerous phone calls and of
course yelling and his own footwork to get alternate housing.
His insurance representative knows nothing and does nothing.
The fire department locked the building for investigation and no
access was allowed until the investigation was over. He was
told he is responsible for the heat bills even after they bypassed
the furnace units for continuous heat so the building's pipes won't
freeze. They set the thermostat at 78!!
My nephew worked with the fire department, the property
management and other sources and finally gained access to his
home. Items are being cleaned and others disposed of.
My reason for writing - Thank you for always answering calls
and making those silly changes for work and home. We all know
I can get insurance from many companies, I can buy a car from many
companies - it's the service afterwards that matters."
