Donald K. Pierce is the Founder of Pierce & Company. He holds the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation, the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation and is a licensed Insurance Counselor.

Don has over 40 years experience in the insurance industry. He has written and collaborated on articles concerning insurance and risk management in insurance trade journals. Don has been a consultant for insurance and risk management for several colleges and school districts. He has also served on local and national insurance company agent's panels.  Don is currently Vice President of the Michigan Agency Alliance.

Don holds a B.A. from the University of Detroit. He has been active in several programs involving handicapped children and adults, including a position on the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Exceptional Children.
